“Whose is that shape in the shadows? Whose is that face, in the mask?”
The Phantom of the Opera is billed as London's most haunting love story. Set within the majestic Paris Opera House, this musical follows the tragic love story of a beautiful opera singer and a disfigured young composer who lives below the stage. It has some of the most lavish sets, costumes and special effects ever created for the theatre. This compelling, award-winning production has cast its magical spell in over 110 cities worldwide.
The Phantom of the Opera - The Story

Deformed since birth, the Phantom lives in the sewers beneath the Paris Opera House. From his lair, the Phantom falls in love with the beautiful chorus singer 'Christine'. The Phantom privately tutors Christine while terrifying the rest of the opera house, demanding that Christine is given all the lead roles. The problem is compounded when Christine meets up with a childhood acquaintance, 'Raoul', and the two fall in love. The Phantom kidnaps her and holds her with him. Raoul is the only one who can help, but does he succeed?
